Choosing the Right Paper, and Other Links
It's Friday. Here's what I've been writing and reading this week:
"Choosing the Right Paper." If you're intrigued by the notion of writing by hand, it's important to choose the right paper. I've posted a round-up of the paper I use on my other blog.
"In Praise of Robert Alter, Part 3." Garrett Brown writes about Margaret M. Wagner's design choices for Norton's editions of the Bible translated by Robert Alter.
"18th Century Bibles." Beautifully bound facsimiles of eighteenth-century New Testaments. The whole site is fascinating, just be warned: you're going to want to buy something.
"Crossway Personal Size Reference ESV in Black TruTone." Elliot Kang has posted a review after my own heart, an in-depth look at the newest printing of the PSR, Crossway's original single-column ESV.
And finally, something that will interest you Clarion fans ...
"What's the Deal with the Page Curling?" Back in June, H. James Keener posted info from Cambridge on the Clarion ESV's page-curling problem. Good stuff, and the site is well worth following.
